Quartz with Chlorite inclusions & Siderite (RARE combo)

Item Description

Two dramatically opposing gem, terminated quartz points are very aesthetically set on the RARE for the locale plate of oxide-coated Siderite rhombs. The quartz crystals, 6.5 and 5.3 cm long, have water-clear prism faces and unusual preferential etched/frosted to glass-clear termination faces. Both quartz points are strikingly included with flecks of green Chlorite. The stepped-growth prism faces add even more character. The small quartz is pristine and the bit of termination edge wear to the large crystal is out-of-sight in the preferred display views. An exceptional and RARE quartz and siderite combination from recent finds in the Alpine-type clefts at this less well-known Indian district in the foothills of the Himalayas.
