Item Description

The famed Tsumeb Mine is renowned for rare and unique species and this rare and outstanding selection from the Eugene Carmichael Collection features 6 of them together! 5 gel caps hold small amounts of: 1) kegelite - Type Locality; 2) schneiderhohnite - Type Locality; 3) leiteite - Type Locality; 4) fleischerite - Type Locality; and 5) schaurteite - Type Locality and unique to Tsumeb. Two massive, and rare pieces (for the locale) of stromeyerite - Ag-Cu-sulfosalt - are in the corner, and are rich for the species from this location but more a bonus to the others, which are far more rare worldwide.
