"Condor" Agate

Item Description

We do not put many specimens of agate in the auctions, because they are typically seen as a rather "low-end" rock. But some of the varieties are prized by collectors, as are these Mexican "condor" agates (and the Montana "dryheads" elsewhere in this set of auctions). What makes these two so cool, and why we have put them in the auctions together, is that although they are from entirely different localities, they share the same color tones; a pure coincidence.
