Cummingtonite

Item Description

Cummingtonite in an uncommon amphibole, and frequently is not found in well-formed crystals. This cluster, almost columnar in habit, has well-defined crystals exceeding 3 cm in lenth. The color is a medium to dark chocolate brown, and the luster varies from earthy to good. As Cummingtonites go, this is quite a good specimen.
