Special Rice Museum Benefit Auction!
We are honored to host a new Museum Deaccession auction of long-held duplicates from the treasures from the Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks & Minerals (Portland, Oregon), recently selected from their extensive holdings. The core collection was built in the late 1900s by founders Richard and Helen Rice. Most of these items have never been seen outside of the museum and even then, some of them have simply been warehoused and not on display, for decades. We included selections from their extensive lapidary collection of rare and valuable carving rough and slabbed material. We hope you enjoy this fine and diverse selection from one of the great public display museums for minerals.
