PRE-TUCSON FINE MINERAL COLLECTION and INVENTORY LIQUIDATION AUCTION (set 2 of 2) - end January 12th, 2017
Ends Thursday, January 12th, 2017
at 6:45 PM (Central Time Zone)
Starting off the New Year with a great mix of old classics, contemporary treats along with rarities, unusual pieces, gem crystals and display specimens. You'll even find a few fossils, carving and gemstones mixed in every now and then. Of course we have plenty of pieces from the famous and historic Willard Wulff collection, along with dealers' inventories and other private collections that we're liquidating. Look here for the not so typical mineral specimens along with plenty of your favorites. We don't just offer the "standard 20 species", but an eclectic mix of specimens that appeal to everybody! Enjoy!
Some of the highlights from this week's include:
1. A beautiful nearly 3-inch AZURITE "rosette" from the Shilu Mine in China
2. Rare RHODOCHROSITE pseudomorph after SERANDITE from Mont Saint-Hilaire, Canada
3. Highly sought after and rare "TRAPICHE" habit RUBY specimen from Burma (Myanmar)
4. Historic specimen of the rare sulfosalt ANDORITE from Bolivia from Federico Ahlfeld from 1939
5. Fine quality matrix STELLERITE from India from the collection of John Arnaud
6. A lovely matrix specimen of GEMMY GYPSUM crystals from the Cave of Swords in Mexico
