Supremely iridescent, sharp chalcopyrite crystals are very aesthetically scattered on the large sculptural quartz crystal matrix on this outstanding Chinese specimen from a VERY OBSCURE province. MINDAT lists 19 localities in the province having chalcopyrite, no photos are shown. The crystals have stunning and beautiful iridescent hues of golden-metallic, magenta and peacock-blue. The impresssive large doubly terminated crystal on the end is 5.5 cm. Pristine, this fabulous two-sided piece has multiple display views. Chalcoyrite iridescence on this piece rivals that of many of the great chalcopyrite localities in Europe, South America, Mexico and the US. Fairly valued at $1250-1500 for superb quality and rarity.
