Pink Chalcedony petrified wood limb cast (RARE )

Item Description

An outstanding and very uncommon large glassy pretty pink chalcedony petrified tree limb cast with excellent color and form from an uncommon Nevada locale. One end of the piece is polished to a mirror finish, highlighting the rich pink color, glassiness and translucence. RARE and excellent older material, probably collected in the 1970's. It glows, when back lit. 147 grams mass. A fine fossil or excellent material for lapidiary work. Ex Dr. Barratt Phillips Collection.
