Plumosite, Calcite, Galena & Quartz

Plumosite is a synonym of any of the "feather ore" species, usually Boulangerite, but sometimes Jamesonite, Zinkenite or even a rarer sulphosalt (MINDAT). These species are RARE from the famous and ancient mines at Pribram and this is an outstanding rare old two-sided combination small cabinet. The striking 'front' is highlighted by the striking sculptural, 2.0 cm, golden-yellow, bulb-like calcite crystal with sharp 'petal' points. Tufts of splendent, silver-metallic soft to the touch needles (probably boulangerite) and quartz points line the rest of the vug. The back side and the matrix are splendent galena crystals. Comes with an older label. Very rare high quality Pribram combination material, especially with the 'feather ore" and the super calcite crystal. A MUST for the species or locality collector.
