GIANT DENVER SHOW MINERAL COLLECTION and INVENTORY LIQUIDATION AUCTION (set 1 of 2) - end September 21st, 2017
Ends Thursday, September 21st, 2017
at 6:30 PM (Central Time Zone)
We have a double-set of SPECIAL DENVER SHOW auctions this week, loaded with pieces that we set back, and normally would have offered our buyers at the main show, but just didn't have room. We have a great mix of classic, contemporary pieces, rarities and gem crystals! Look for pieces mixed in from various collections we've obtained including Willard Wulff, Kay Robertson, Francesco Bedogné, and Paul Zerfass, along with dealers' inventories. Look here for the not so typical mineral specimens along with plenty of your favorites. We don't just offer the "standard 20 species", but an eclectic mix of specimens that appeal to everybody! Enjoy!
Some of the highlights from this week's include:
1. Classic, rare matrix LEGRANDITE from the Ojuela Mine, Mexico
2. Showy and very good sized crystals of GORMANITE on matrix from Rapid Creek, Canada (ex Francesco Bedogné Collection)
3. A colorful and hard to find piece of multicolor OPAL replacing Petrifed Wood from Virgin Valley, Nevada (ex Kay Robertson Collection)
4. Wonderful cabinet display specimen of gemmy beautifully crystallized FLUORITE from the Jaimina Mine, Spain (ex Herb Obodda)
5. Classic and hard to find specimen of purplish APATITE on matrix from the Foote Mine in North Carolina
6. A wonderful display specimen of large robust VANADINITE crystals from the uncommon locality of Touissit, Morocco (ex Franceso Bedogné Collection)
