Item Description
Glaucophane is an uncommon member of the Amphibole Group. This Italian locality is well-known for rich masses of the species. This sculptural and vuggy lightweight specimen is composed solidly of lustrous, metallic gray-blue lathes. Scattered patches of green chrome-rich muscovite variety fuchsite and tiny red dots of rutile are a typical accessory. Rich and classic combination material from the locale.
