Item Description

A very showy sliced and polished, hollow, agatized coral fossil geode! The glassy, transparent outer rind of amber and dark brown agate frames the pretty, sculptural interior of powder-blue, creamy and amber colors. This is one of those unusual cases where biology meets mineralogy. This specimen is from the Hauck Quartz Collection.
