FEATURING MANY SPECIMENS FROM OLD MINERAL COLLECTIONS! Most of the specimens here are from old stashes and purchased dealer inventories that you cannot as easily find in today's market as in the past. This week will highlight some rare Arizona locality pieces recently obtained in a collection purchase. We also feature more choice pieces, including many of $500 value and up, from the old Obodda material, and the Kay Robertson Collection.
We are honored to announce the purchase of several large collections including the fantastic Kay Robertson collection of 10,000 specimens, filled with European treasures and old classics accumulated since she started collecting in 1928 (see our website for more information: http://www.irocks.com/kay-robertson-a-treasure-in-the-mineral-collecting-world)!
Some of the highlights from this week's include:
1. Superb Franklin RHODONITE from the Washington Roebling Collection (circa 1900)
2. Classic CHRYSOBERYL TWIN (SUPERB THUMBNAIL!) from Brazil
3. Fine Peru QUARTZ Japan-law twin on matrix
