FINE MINERAL COLLECTION and INVENTORY LIQUIDATION AUCTION (set 2 of 2) - FEATURING SPECIMENS FROM THE KAY ROBERTSON COLLECTION - end Thursday December 13th, 2018
Ends Thursday, December 13th, 2018
at 6:45 PM (Central Time Zone)
We have a great selection of material that we picked up over the last few months along with rarities, unusual pieces, gem crystals, classics and display specimens. Look for new goodies from recent shows / discoveries along with new collection acquisitions to appear in the coming weeks. You'll even find a few fossils, carvings / lapidary items and gemstones mixed in every now and then. We'll still have selections from various collections we've obtained including Willard Wulff, Brian Lloyd, Rolando Gioia, Charlie Key, Geary Murdock and plenty of pieces from Kay Robertson along with various dealers' inventories. Look here for the not so typical mineral specimens along with plenty of your favorites. We don't just offer the "standard 20 species", but an eclectic mix of specimens that appeal to everybody! Enjoy!
Some of the highlights from this week's auction include:
1. Large, fine, stout, jet-black FERBERITE crystal group from the Tasna Mine, Bolivia
2. Gemmy, beautiful pink color ETCHED & SMOOTH / LUSTROUS MORGANITE BERYL crystal from Brazil
3. A 5-piece group of bright MULTI-COLOR OPAL specimens from ETHIOPIA
4. Classic "tree"-like display specimen of CALCITE from Bisbee, Arizona
5. Old classic fine quality PYROMORPHITE from the Bunker Hill Mine, Idaho (ex Geary Murdock Collection)
6. Hard to find US specimens, such an old time MORGANITE from the Elizabeth R. Mine in California and a rarely seen ROSE QUARTZ from Maine (ex Geary Murdock Collection)
7. Gorgeous beautiful purple colored FLOURESCENT HACKMANITE SODALITE from Afghanistan (ex Francesco Bedogné Collection)
8. Page 2 features assorted worldwide minerals (focusing on European and North American localities) from the Kay Robertson Collection
