FINE MINERAL COLLECTION and INVENTORY LIQUIDATION AUCTION (set 2 of 2) - FEATURING SPECIMENS FROM THE KAY ROBERTSON COLLECTION - end Thursday August 16th, 2018
Ends Thursday, August 16th, 2018
at 6:45 PM (Central Time Zone)
We have a great selection of material that we picked up over the last few months along with rarities, unusual pieces, gem crystals, classics and display specimens. Look for new goodies from Tucson along with new collection acquisitions to appear in the coming weeks. You'll even find a few fossils, carvings / lapidary items and gemstones mixed in every now and then. We'll still have selections from various collections we've obtained including Willard Wulff, Francesco Bedogne, Rolando Gioia, Charlie Key and plenty of pieces from Kay Robertson along with various dealers' inventories. Look here for the not so typical mineral specimens along with plenty of your favorites. We don't just offer the "standard 20 species", but an eclectic mix of specimens that appeal to everybody! Enjoy!
Some of the highlights from this week's auction include:
1. Large, fine quality, thick Baveno Twinned MICROCLINE crystal with SCHORL from Pakistan
2. Attractive multi-color OPAL in PETRIFIED WOOD from Indonesia
3. A gorgeous and rarely seen specimen of silvery twinned CERUSSITE on matrix from Kimbedi, Rep. of Congo
