FINE MINERAL COLLECTION and INVENTORY LIQUIDATION AUCTION (set 2 of 2) - end Thursday March 28th, 2019
Ends Thursday, March 28th, 2019
at 6:45 PM (Central Time Zone)
We have a great selection of material that we picked up over the last few months along with rarities, unusual pieces, gem crystals, classics and display specimens. Look for new goodies from recent shows / discoveries along with new collection acquisitions to appear in the coming weeks. You'll even find a few fossils, carvings / lapidary items and gemstones mixed in every now and then. We'll still have selections from various collections we've obtained including the newly acquired collection of David Burgess along with pieces from Dr. William Logan, Richard Kosnar, Geary Murdock and plenty of pieces from Kay Robertson along with various dealers' inventories. Look here for the not so typical mineral specimens along with plenty of your favorites. We don't just offer the "standard 20 species", but an eclectic mix of specimens that appeal to everybody! Enjoy!
Some of the highlights from this week's auction include:
1. A wonderful gemmy, natural bi-colored crystal AMETRINE with RARE "c" pinacoid faces from Bolivia
2. Rarely seen MULTI-COLOR FIRE OPAL in matrix from Red Rock Canyon, California
3. An attractive branching GOLD specimen from the Eagle's Nest Mine in California
4. Newly discovered BRIGHT PINK colored THULITE (Zoisite) from Norway
5. A beautiful specimen of AMBER from the Dominican Republic featuring MULTIPLE INSECT INCLUSIONS!
6. Excellent, highly fluorescent gemmy spherical "HYALITE" OPAL (Opal-AN) from Mexico
7. Rarities include ZALESIITE, SAPPHIRINE, ROBINSONITE and SILVER (var: AMALGUM)
8. Page 2 features assorted worldwide minerals (focusing on European and North American localities) from the Kay Robertson Collection
