SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: NEW COLLECTION ACQUIRED!

We are excited to announce that we have purchased the collection of Willard W. Wulff (1904-1998) of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Wulff was a fixture in the world of Colorado field collecting, and was one of the founding members of Colorado Springs Mineralogical Society in November of 1936. His contemporaries included dealer Lazard Cahn, famous field collector Edwin Over and the esteemed collector George White. Starting this week, the majority of Wulff's 1000+ piece collection will be offered over the coming months in the auctions. Most specimens are accompanied with Wulff's signature typed 3x5 index cards, and some specimens date back over 70 years! A great "time capsule" of a collection with plenty of interesting, unique and worthwhile specimens to add to your own collection.

We found a link for an autobiography that Wulff wrote in 1985 on the Colorado Springs Mineralogical Society website. Click here to read it.

Some of the highlights from this week's include:
1. A beautiful multi-color GEM quality Tourmaline thumbnail from Brazil
2. Cabinet sized old time, gemmy baby blue Halite specimen from New Mexico
3. A good sized, nearly 2-inch green Vesuvianite from the Jeffrey Mine in Canada
4. Razor sharp Calcite pseudomorph after Gypsum from Romania
5. GEM quality intense yellow Sulfur from Russia
6. Rarely seen GOLD specimen from Sterling Hill, New Jersey!
