FINE MINERAL COLLECTION and INVENTORY LIQUIDATION AUCTION (set 2 of 2) - end Aug 3rd, 2017
Ends Thursday, August 3rd, 2017
at 6:45 PM (Central Time Zone)
This week's auction is filled with new material we picked up over the last few months along with rarities, unusual pieces, gem crystals, classics and display specimens. You'll even find a few fossils, carving and gemstones mixed in every now and then. Look for pieces mixed in from various collections we've obtained including Willard Wulff, Kay Robertson, Francesco Bedogné, and Paul Zerfass, along with dealers' inventories. Look here for the not so typical mineral specimens along with plenty of your favorites. We don't just offer the "standard 20 species", but an eclectic mix of specimens that appeal to everybody! Enjoy!
Some of the highlights from this week's include:
1. A rare yellow colored BRUCITE specimen from a new discovery in Pakistan
2. Beautiful, sharp, lustrous, fine quality, brilliant orange colored ORPIMENT on matrix from Nevada
3. Rich pink, gemmy, "barrel"-shaped, FLUORAPATITE crystals on MUSCOVITe from Pakistan from the collection of Francesco Bedogné
4. A fine quality, highly lustrous, metallic crystal of silvery CARROLLITE on CALCITE from DR Congo
6. Beautifully crystallized, GEM quality, razor sharp, well-formed SMOKY QUARTZ from Brazil from the Paul Zerfass Collection
7. Rarities include LEITITE with LUDLOCKITE, BARRERITE, CARLETONITE, GUDMUNDITE, Co-bearing PICKERINGITE, VILLAMANINITE, HAWIWEEITE and KARELIANITE
