Item Description
A classic example of the famous golden-brown sand inside of colorless Gypsum from the Great Salt Plains State Park in Alfalfa County, Oklahoma. This is less common multi-crystal group and not just a single as is often found at this locality. It is essentially a complete "floater" with no point of attachment that is crystallized all the way around. The largest crystal measures 3.5 cm, and they all have the flattened tabular form that is seen from the Great Salt Plains. Classic material from Oklahoma.
