PRE-DENVER SHOW MINERAL COLLECTION and INVENTORY LIQUIDATION AUCTION - end Aug 31st, 2017
Ends Thursday, August 31st, 2017
at 6:45 PM (Central Time Zone)
This week's auction is filled with new material we picked up over the last few months along with rarities, unusual pieces, gem crystals, classics and display specimens. You'll even find a few fossils, carving and gemstones mixed in every now and then. Look for pieces mixed in from various collections we've obtained including Willard Wulff, Kay Robertson, Francesco Bedogné, and Paul Zerfass, along with dealers' inventories. Look here for the not so typical mineral specimens along with plenty of your favorites. We don't just offer the "standard 20 species", but an eclectic mix of specimens that appeal to everybody! Enjoy!
Some of the highlights from this week's include:
1. GEMMY bi-color pink and soft blue TOURMALINE from Afghanistan
2. INTENSE blue colored, gemmy cubic FLUORITE from Illinois (ex Kay Robertson Collection)
3. A beautiful CASSITERITE with AQUAMARINE on MUSCOVITE from BRAZIL that looks like it could be Chinese!
4. VERY HARD TO FIND NATIVE SILVER on matrix from Langban, Sweden!!
5. Classic "Rainbow" ANDRADITE GARNET from the Kohse Mine in Japan
6. Rarities include: ROXBYITE, HYDROXYLELLESTADITE, LEMMLEINITE-(Ba), COWLESITE, NENADKEVICHITE and KOSNARITE
