FINE MINERAL COLLECTION and INVENTORY LIQUIDATION AUCTION (set 2 of 2) - end April 6th, 2017
Ends Thursday, April 6th, 2017
at 6:45 PM (Central Time Zone)
This week's auction is filled with plenty of new discoveries we picked up over the last few months along with rarities, unusual pieces, gem crystals, classics and display specimens. You'll even find a few fossils, carving and gemstones mixed in every now and then. Of course we have plenty of pieces from the famous and historic Willard Wulff collection, along with dealers' inventories and other private collections that we're liquidating. Look here for the not so typical mineral specimens along with plenty of your favorites. We don't just offer the "standard 20 species", but an eclectic mix of specimens that appeal to everybody! Enjoy!
Some of the highlights from this week's include:
1. Rare "butterfly"-twinned PHOSPHOPHYLLITE from the Huayllani Mine, Bolivia
2. Large sharp lustrous prismatic crystals of AEGIRINE from Mount Malosa, Malawi
3. An old time GEM quality blue AQUAMARINE crystal from Medina, Brazil
4. Wonderful rich emerald green octahedral FLUORITE on QUARTZ from Riemvasmaak, South Africa
5. Beautiful and rarely seen AMETHYST "FLOWER" from Ametista do Sul, Rio Grande de Sul, Brazil
6. Rarely seen MANGANITE specimen from the Lucy Mine / McComber Mine, Marquette County, Michigan
