FINE MINERAL COLLECTION and INVENTORY LIQUIDATION AUCTION - end Thursday June 27th, 2019
Ends Thursday, June 27th, 2019
at 6:45 PM (Central Time Zone)
We have a great selection of material that we picked up over the last few months along with rarities, unusual pieces, gem crystals, classics and display specimens. Look for new goodies from recent shows / discoveries along with new collection acquisitions to appear in the coming weeks. You'll even find a few fossils, carvings / lapidary items and gemstones mixed in every now and then. We'll still have selections from various collections we've obtained including the newly acquired collection of David Burgess, Tom Campbell and Dr. William Logan along with pieces from Willard Wulff and Rich Kosnar, plus plenty of pieces from various dealers' inventories. Look here for the not so typical mineral specimens along with plenty of your favorites. We don't just offer the "standard 20 species", but an eclectic mix of specimens that appeal to everybody! Enjoy!
Some of the highlights from this week's auction include:
1. A beautiful naturally bi-colored purple and yellow AMETRINE slice from Bolivia
2. Newly mined "Blood Vessel Opal" (Hyalite / Opal-AN) from Mexico
3. Gorgeous and rarely seen PURPLE and RED VESUVIANITE crystals from the Jeffrey Mine, Canada
4. Attractive crystallized GOLD specimen from the Piolho Claim, Brazil
5. Fantastic doubly-terminated, sharp, pinkish-purple colored SAPPHIRE crystal on matrix from Paksitan
6. Gemmy AMBER specimen with MULTIPLE INSECT INCLUSIONS from the Dominican Republic
7. New and unusual MULTICOLOR ANDRADITE GARNET specimen from Peru
8. Eye-catching "butterfly"-twinned crystals of PHOSPHOPHYLLITE from Bolivia
