FINE MINERAL COLLECTION and INVENTORY LIQUIDATION AUCTION - end July 20th, 2017
Ends Thursday, July 20th, 2017
at 6:30 PM (Central Time Zone)
This week's auction is filled with new material we picked up over the last few months along with rarities, unusual pieces, gem crystals, classics and display specimens. You'll even find a few fossils, carving and gemstones mixed in every now and then. Look for pieces mixed in from various collections we've obtained including Willard Wulff, Kay Robertson, Francesco Bedogné, and Paul Zerfass, along with dealers' inventories. Look here for the not so typical mineral specimens along with plenty of your favorites. We don't just offer the "standard 20 species", but an eclectic mix of specimens that appeal to everybody! Enjoy!
Some of the highlights from this week's include:
1. A fine quality and aesthetic intense blue, highly lustrous AZURITE from Touissit, Morocco
2. Selected Mexican and worldwide specimens from the collection of Dr. Miguel Romero!
3. Beautiful large clove purple colored crystals of AXINITE-(Fe) with Adularia from Pakistan
4. Rare and colorful "RAINBOW" ANDRADITE Garnet from Japan
5. A rarely seen specimen of the new and unusual "BLOOD VESSEL" OPAL from Mexico
6. Captivating blue CUPRIAN SMITHSONITE from the Hilarion Mine, in Lavrion, Greece
7. Rarities include GREIFENSTEINITE, GALENOBISMUTITE, ZINCWOODWARDITE (from the type locality), NAUJAKASITE and ALUMOTUNGSITE (aluminium-rich variety of Hydrokenoelsmoreite)
